Helping Hands

Volunteer Positions

Volunteers are vital to the Fisher House program and help to fulfill our mission of creating a homelike atmosphere. Since opening in 1993, many volunteers have contributed dedicated assistance to families at the Fisher House. The warmth, compassion and strength provided during every hour spent at the House are most important to the families and staff at the Fisher House.

Please consider becoming a Helping Hands Volunteer at the Fisher House. These positions will be coordinated with the Fisher House staff. Many of the positions may overlap and a volunteer may do more than one position. Volunteers will be asked to fill out an application for registration and tracking purposes. All interested Fisher House Helping Hand Volunteers must go through volunteer training and orientation through the VA.

Helping Hands volunteer positions are listed below. Position descriptions, interest letter, and volunteer policies are also available for downloading and printing by clicking on the appropriate link.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer please email the
Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@denverfisherhouse.org.
